About
On 1st October I will be taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon and will be running to honour the memory of Hugh Spiers. Gorgeous Hugh sadly passed away in June 2022 due to T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He was an extremely brave little boy undergoing a year of treatment involving chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a stem cell transplant whilst remaining joyful and full of energy throughout. Hugh’s parents have been awe inspiring showing extreme bravery and constant positivity. Your donation will support the Grand Appeal, the Official Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. They are committed to saving lives and supporting families and all funds raised will support other children and families on Starlight and Ocean wards where Hugh was cared for. The funds raised will also contribute to future medical research into lifesaving treatments for T-Cell ALL. I would really appreciate any donation you can make. Running for Hugh is going to push me forward towards that finish line.
